More streets cleaned in Upper Gornal

Local volunteers have helped clean up parts of Gornal for the second day running. As part of an initiative by West Midland's Mayor, Andy Street, local residents turned up at Pale Street and cleaned up the surrounding area.

Campaigners clean up Humphrey Street Park

Local campaigners have taken part in a "Street Clean Weekend", organised by Andy Street, Mayor of the West Midlands. The park off Humphrey Street in Lower Gornal, was covered in litter and had tents, sofas and other furniture fly-tipped.

Mayor given rare honour of second term

Councillor David Stanley has been chosen at a meeting in Dudley Council to serve as the Mayor of Dudley.  Councillor Stanley was previously the Mayor of the town back in 2007, but was chosen to represent the town once again in a rare occurrence.
