Conservative Police & Crime Commissioner Candidate Jay Singh-Sohal has pledged, if elected, to work closely with Dudley Council to help bring crime down across the borough.
Jay quotes "If elected WM Police & Crime Commissioner on 7th May 2020; I will make the increasing of police officer numbers my number one priority, and recruit more PCSOs and Special Constables across our region.
"As a Conservative, I will do so by working with our government and by better managing the WM Police budget. With my proactive and pragmatic approach we can get crime down."
Dudley Conservative Coucil has pledged £250000 toward extra PSCO's if it can be match funded by The Police and Crime Commissioner.
